Refund policy

Updated August 20, 2026

This policy is part of the terms of service. It exists so you can tell, before paying, exactly what happens if you change your mind or if we fall short.

Before you pay at all

Your first 5 applications and your first daily report are free. You will have seen a real report about a real submission before any money changes hands. Please use it — it is a better test of whether this suits you than any refund policy.

How billing works

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you pick: weekly, monthly or quarterly. They renew automatically until you cancel.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the current period — you keep access until it runs out. There is no automatic partial refund for a period you have already started, except in the cases below.

We refund without argument

  • The service did not run. If applications were not attempted for reasons on our side for a meaningful part of a paid period, tell us and we will refund that part.
  • A charge after you cancelled. Refunded in full.
  • A duplicate or accidental charge. Refunded in full.
  • We removed something material from your plan during a period you had already paid for. Refunded for the unused part.
  • A first subscription you have barely used. Within 14 days of your first ever payment, if the service has run for you and you simply do not want it, we will refund the unused whole weeks or months of that period. You do not have to explain why.

We do not refund

  • Because you did not get interviews or an offer. We do not promise those outcomes and cannot, and a refund tied to them would be a promise by the back door.
  • Because an employer rejected you, or did not reply. That is the employer's decision, not our performance.
  • Because there were fewer matching jobs than the daily maximum. The maximum is a ceiling, not a quota; padding it with roles outside your criteria would be the worse outcome. Your report shows what was checked and why the rest was skipped.
  • A period you used fully and then decided against, beyond the 14-day case above.
  • Charges older than 90 days, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the service starts working for you immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that it should begin straight away, which can affect that right once the service has been performed.

Our own 14-day rule above is meant to be at least as generous as the statutory position, and nothing in this policy removes a right you have under consumer law where you live.

Chargebacks

If something is wrong, email us first. A chargeback opened without contacting us costs us a fee on top of the disputed amount and takes weeks to resolve; we will almost always have sorted it out faster and in your favour.

How to ask

Email karentia@maoertech.cn from the address on your account with:

  • What you want refunded, and roughly why.
  • The date of the charge, if you know it.

We aim to answer within two working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.
